How to prepare for the test
Fasting is NOT necessary for blood sampling;
For male patients:- DO NOT URINATE FOR AT LEAST 2-3 HOURS BEFORE TAKING THE TEST
- Wait at least 7 days after the end of any antibiotic therapy
- Avoid sexual intercourse in the 24 hours before
- On the day of the test, perform proper hygiene of the external genitalia

- Avoid using local creams or vaginal ovules in the 3 days before
- Wait 5 days after the end of menstruation
