The test requires special preparation. Please contact the Helab Center by telephone to obtain the necessary information.
How to prepare for the exam
- You must be fasting and not have smoked for at least 8 hours
- No antibiotics should be taken for the previous 4 weeks
- No gastroprotective or gastric antisecretory drugs should be taken in the previous 2 weeks
- A light meal is recommended the night before the test

Method of collection
- Wash your hands with water and detergent and, with particular care, the urethral orifice and the surrounding area, then dry the cleansed areas
- Open the sterile container taking care not to touch the edge and the inside
- COLLECT A SMALL QUANTITY OF THE FIRST COLLECTION OF URINE in the sterile container

EXAM PREPARATION
Men
- Do not urinate for at least 2 hours before the test.

- You must have finished your period at least 4-5 days before the test.
