Thin-layer liquid-based pap smear. Collection of cells from the cervical area to investigate any pre-cancerous lesions caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
How to prepare for the exam
- Do not use creams or suppositories in the 24-48 hours before the test.
- You must have finished your period at least 4-5 days before the test.
- Avoid sexual intercourse in the 24 hours before the test.
- On the day of the test, perform proper hygiene of the external genitalia.
Results ready in a maximum of 15 days, also by email.
