URINE 1ST VOID:<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to prepare for the exam<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wait at least 7 days after the end of any antibiotic therapy<\/p>\n

Collection method<\/strong><\/p>\n

wash your hands, private parts and, with particular care, the orifice of the urethra with water and detergent. Then dry the cleansed areas
\nOpen the sterile container, being careful not to touch the edge of the container
\nstart urinating BY COLLECTING THE FIRST JOURNEY of urine released (approximately 40-60ml)
\nclose the container well, taking care not to contaminate the edge or the inside
\ndeliver the sample to the laboratory, otherwise store in the fridge at 4\u00b0C for a maximum of 24 hours. Keep away from heat sources. (Alternatively, for some tests ONLY it is possible to use urine collection tubes with boric acid and also store them at room temperature for 24 hours. Ask the laboratory for confirmation).<\/p>\n
